Dr. Larry Seitlin has a history of dental excellence. After obtaining his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of North Carolina, Dr. Seitlin opened up Seitlin Dental. More than 50 years later, he’s just as excited to meet new patients, and provide the highest standard of care. From the moment you walk into our door, you’ll be in good hands.

Outside of his work at Seitlin Dental, Dr. Seitlin is also an accomplished sports dentist. He’s a member of the International Academy of Sports Dentistry and the Association of Professional Team Physicians. He has served as the team dentist for the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, AHL’s Charlotte Checkers hockey team, WNBA’s Charlotte Sting, and the Charlotte Cobras lacrosse team.

His passion for sports and basketball, in particular, also drove Dr. Seitlin to become a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches. He has been a member for 21 years and has coached multiple AAU teams.

Dr. Eric Seitlin is a Charlotte native who has been dedicated to his patents in his community for over 20 years. After graduating from South Meck High School, he pursued a degree in Mathematical Sciences at UNC-Chapel Hill before earning his dental doctorate from the University of Maryland Dental School.

Dr. Seitlin is passionate about addressing a broad spectrum of dental issues, from routine care to complex procedures. With over a dozen years of experience in implant placement and nearly two decades in providing Invisalign treatments, he is committed to helping patients achieve optimal oral health and renewed confidence. His treatment plans often encompass both cosmetic and functional aspects of dentistry, ensuring that his patients’ teeth not only look great but also feel good and function properly.

Outside of the office, Dr. Seitlin enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He’s a passionate youth baseball coach who led his team to a North Carolina state championship and is also a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Raised right next door in Weddington, Dr. Vasa has been a Charlotte native all his life. He attended the University of North Carolina where he received a degree in Nutrition from the Gillings School of Public Health. He continued his education at the East Carolina School of Dental Medicine obtaining a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. Dr. Vasa is a proud member of the ADA, NC Dental Society and is implant trained, and Invisalign trained and certified.

For Dr. Vasa, dentistry is more than just a job. It's about building long lasting relationships with his patients and the community. Dr. Vasa feels fortunate that he is able to assist patients in maintaining proper oral health and a beautiful smile. He enjoys getting to know each and every one of his patients and learning about their specific needs and desires so he can tailor a plan best suited for them. He takes pride in educating his patients so they are comfortable and confident with their treatment plan. His chair side manner is gentle and caring. He takes the time to make sure that his patients are relaxed and comfortable throughout any procedure. Dr. Vasa’s clinical approach is conservative and tries to mimic nature as much as possible, both esthetically and functionally.

Along with educating his patients, Dr. Vasa is passionate about furthering his own education. He enjoys taking endless hours of clinical education outside of the practice to continue learning
about new technology and techniques to better serve his patients.

In his free time, Dr. Vasa enjoys traveling and staying active. On most weekends, you can find Dr. Vasa either on the golf course or the tennis court.

First, you’ll check in with our front desk team. Then, you can relax in our comfortable waiting area until it’s time for your appointment. A hygienist will bring you back to one of our operating rooms. 

While you relax and enjoy looking at one of our fish tanks, your hygienist will take X-rays of your mouth. Then, your dentist will enter the room, take a look at your X-rays, and perform a comprehensive exam to assess your oral health.

In most cases, you’ll only need a routine cleaning. Your hygienist will scale away plaque and tartar then buff and polish your teeth, leaving them bright and shiny. Then, all that’s left to do is schedule your next checkup.

However, if Dr. Larry Seitlin, Dr. Eric Seitlin, or Dr. Sahil Vasa notices an oral health issue, they will discuss it with you, go over your treatment options, and develop a plan that’s right for your unique needs.
